FluxBB Conversion Status
This topic is offered to provide NewMars members with up to date information on the status of the FluxBB upgrade scheduled for Sunday, December 1st, 2024. Logins to the old system and the new system will be disabled at Noon New Hampshire time.
The main work item is to copy the database from the old system to the new one.
After that step is complete, there will be checks performed to be sure everything is working correctly.
kbd512 will then perform some steps needed to swap the links to the two systems. The old one will remain in place for a period of time as a backup.
Our logins will transition to the new system.
This forum on Azure is available to keep everyone informed of our progress.
