Re: Images for FluxBB: Velocity Long Run
This image is for Velocity. The view is of the engine compartment, showing hydrogen flowing from the heat pipe through the nozzle to the outlet in lower right.

Re: Images for FluxBB: Draining hydrogen to Outlet-2
This image shows the extendedMerlin model venting hydrogen to space at the beginning of a run.
The model was filled to 1 bar of hydrogen before the run. This appears to be a requirement for the equations to have something to chew on.
We have initiated a feed of new hydrogen at the intake at the far left, and simultaneously we have opened a valve to drain hydrogen out of the outlets.
Only one outlet is participating in the drain at this point. It is possible to see hydrogen draining from the heat pipe to the outlet.

Re: Images for FluxBB: Surprise in Quiet Test Run
The images here were obtained from a test run of extendedMerlin that was supposed to show no activity at all.
The entire model was initialized to 300 Kelvin at 1 bar of hydrogen.
No energy was fed into the model. Nothing should have happened. Instead, activity occurred in the vicinity of the original engine.
